I’m still trying to figure out how I want to organize the gallery on my blog here for the huge flood of pictures I’m taking.

Argh, Twitter overload, the Tweets keep coming in from 500+ people and I need some apps to read things more easily.
So here’s a few things I found and will be checking out.

Gotta catch ‘em all!
I’m clicking like mad as a result of the ProBlogger Social Media Love-In. Yesterday I’ve been adding a lot of Facebook people, today I added each and everyone’s Twitter, all 538 of them. Thank god for tabs and middle clicking in Firefox.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this ripples out. Already met some interesting people on both FB & Twitter, still have to work my way through the rest, but I’m really looking forward to seeing the impact this is going to have on all our interactions, is it going to make us visit eachother’s sites more, will new projects be started because of this, and so on…
For now I still have a lot of clicking to do, so for all the ProBloggers out there; hi and welcome!
And for anyone new to the party I’ll re-add my links here:
Twitter
Facebook
Linked In
Digg
It’s Saturday.

Woohoo, it hath arrived! I’m very much looking forward to installing it tonight and giving it a go. The new features look very interesting, I’m curious how much use I’ll have for versioning but it’s good that it’s there either way for when building more CMS-like web apps. The new ‘Press this’ also makes it a lot easier to post about something you’re reading on the web.

Very relaxing, and productive at the same time. Got some important things done, and had time for some quality R & R.
Now bring on WordPress 2.6 which is due to be released tomorrow and which promises a load of gallery improvements, so I can finally start uploading all of my pictures. And by god there are many.
Still have figure out how I’m going to organize them all, with a quality camera and a 4GB card in it it’s so tempting to just click away. To indicate how trigger happy I am, I have about 450 piccies just from Katelynd’s birthday alone. Mind you Mondo Verde was a sight, so we just had to. :)

GIMP is an amazing image editing software that allows people with limitless imagination create extraordinary images out of ordinary photos.
I’m all for Open Source programs, and use a lot of them for just about every aspect of my computing experience, whether that’s professional or in my spare time for my hobbies, but come on… if these are the best 25 pictures Gimp can come up with I’m going to stick with Photoshop…
