Me and the internet 2009
This topic made me think about social networks, how I use the internet and how things have changed over the years.
I used to seriously dislike the whole social networking fad because I think it pretty much killed ye olde fashioned forums. Now however I’m more getting the hang of it and actually prefer it because it fits better into my current schedule and workflow.

Weekend!
It’s Thursday evening and I hereby declare weekend. Life is good. Maybe I’ll finally get round to that Snow Leopard upgrade. Or crash with the flu. Either way, first 3 day weekend since August.

WordPress for iPhone 2
And here we are testing the new version 2 of the WordPress for iPhone app. So far so good, it’s a big improvement over the previous version. Who knows, I might even start posting again now. ;)
Maybe. I’ve been thinking about adding some more iPhone related stuff around here and tweaking the layout a bit to make it more phone friendly seeing as that’s my main method of browsing these days.
Hmm, joy, sorry to say but the new iPhone app is still a pain in the ass for me. I saved a draft, added a picture and a lot of text and hit publish and tada, an ugly picture published without adhering to my thumbnail settings and more importantly; all the text from after the first save was gone.
Yeah… I think I’ll stick to ye good olde web backend to write my posts.

iStat for iPhone
Useful? No. Eyecandy? Hell yeah. It just wows people when you show them live stats of how your computers at home are doing. It’d be nice if they added some extra functionality, like being able to kill processes graphically or being able to shutdown or restart your computers, maybe that’s something for future updates. But as is, it’s just a yummy looking statistics app to show off your iPhone and Mac stats.

Dragonball Z Remastered
It’s fun revisiting this series in its remastered and uncut version at first, getting reacquainted with Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and all the others. There’s a lot more backstory as dozens and dozens of episodes that originally got cut are now back for everyone in the west to enjoy. Unfortunately we’re now in the Frieza battle and it’s still as boring as ever getting dragged out endlessly. I hope the rest gets better and has more story that was missing first time around.

A day at the beach, fail again
I don’t know what it is about us and going to the beach, but just like last time and the time before we ended up in a rainstorm last Friday and only stayed there for a short time before running back to the car all soaking wet.
