R.I.P. OS X Server

Oh come on Apple.
“macOS Server is changing to focus more on management of computers, devices, and storage on your network.” Whomever came up with that sentence should be fired on the spot.
OsX Server is changing in the sense that you could change a car by taking off the wheels, the engine, the exhaust, bash every window in and use the carcass as a planter.
No more mail server, no more dns server, no more web server, no nothing.
That’s another nice big fuck you to your customers Apple.

Anyway, seeing as this site runs on the same thing it means it’s time to look at alternatives and roll up my sleeves.

Tulip bulb

Hi, it’s been a while. Quite a few things have changed over the years.
New work, new hobbies, new marital status. Then again plus ├ža change…
Maybe I’ll dip into hobbies here over the next period to come, some of the stuff here is horribly outdated and it’ll be interesting to see if people actually still use their browsers or it’s all social media apps now.

Musical interlude, Bach’s Chaconne

Work in progress... not home!
Trying to get all/most of the new code working before I start on the eyecandy.
