Some of you have already ran your own imports of your old blogs.
Just a quick note for those who still want to do it yourselves (if not that’s fine, just poke me and I’ll help):
- All the imported entries will appear under a single category, the one which is selected as default (under options > writing > default post category). You can make new categories under manage > categories.
- The imported entries will default to post author 1, which happens to be me. So leave me a note on the forum/mail/msn/whatever after you’re done so I can run a database query to set all the entries to your name.

just so you don’t look for as long… manage > import is how you import.
