Den’s place ^^

Finally back alive and kickin’ so I guess that would be the great time to do a recap post. So where do I start? Hmm.. I guess with school.. blergh.

Back in December 2007 / January 2008 I was doing the final tasks of my ICT Manager education. Thanks to some (yea.. some.. lol) effort, and of course X and co where I could do my final assignment, I somehow managed it. I graduated my ICT-education and started my new education in February 2008.

Currently I’m attending a new school in Heerlen, The Netherlands (where X lives) so I have to go by train every single day for 50 minutes forth, and 50 minutes back. There are some days I’m more inside the train than in a classroom. But that’s a studentslife I guess :/. Anyway my new education is called Network Infrastructure Design. It’s basically a higher-level education that fixates mostly on the networking part of computers. There were tons of other things I could do, like gamedesign, but since programming isn’t my best skill (no really, I suck at it) I figured I had to make a wise decision. I really like my new education, even now when I just started with it.

The school works with a nice year roster. 7 weeks of school, 1 week exams, 1 week free of school (study for retrial exams) and 1 week of the retrial exams. So basically when I would pass all exams in week 8, I would be free of school in week 9 and 10.
By passing every exam we can score 3 credits. In the first year we have to get at least 40+ credits. So I have to make 42 credits by the end of the first year. If I’ll make it up to 60 points later on, I’ll also have my “propedeuse” also called “passing a P”. If I would pass my P I’d be able to go university later on, and get a positive study advice. NEED ONE NOW!

Well last week we had our “retrial exam week”. Since I passed 4 out of 5 in the first try, and failed for Basic Maths (I scored a 2/10 lol) I had to redo Basic Maths. Luckily with success! I passed it on the second try with a 7/10. I’m really happy with that result because Basic Maths is known for beign a bitchy-hard class. Some guy in our class has been redoing this class for over 7 times now (failed 14 exams lol :/). Anyway since I’ve passed 5 out of 5, I’m currently at 15 credits. Since I’ve been doing a pre-education based on ICT (my ICT-Manager), I also have classes I can skip and get those credits for free.

All and all I’m now 36 credits (7 free classes, and 5 passed making it 12 x 3 = 36). Lol I only have to pass 2 more classes in 3 quarter years. Good stuff. Anyway this sums up my schoolstuff. This is only a recap of the school part though, I’ll be doing my big interest the next time Gaming.
