About Me
Well, lets get started…
I live in the middle of the south eastern United States. Currently, an average day consists of work, hanging out with my girlfriend, eat, relax a little, and sleep. I like to maintain a low-profile status and don’t really like being the center of attention. I like hanging out with friends but I lack really close friends. A lot of the time I prefer to be left alone, but an occasional greeting or conversation is very welcomed, especially online. Oh yeah, I’m OBSESSED with Batman.
I first came to X111.com back when I had Final Fantasy Music Online up and running (I think around 2001-2002?). I got to know Edgar from AvalancheOnline more and then met XIII (who I initially thought was crazy). The idea of a chat came up one day and X took the reins of the operation giving birth to Triforce chat (what’s it called now? heh). Shortly after (or was it shortly before…) I joined the community here and have been here ever since. Well, more or less… I have had a few periods of MIA-ness. Not much of the original community is left but for some reason I feel like hanging on for dear life. Maybe because of the memories of the good times I’ve experienced. *pokes the weird feeling in his stomach*. Hopefully I’m back to stay!
In my spare time I like reading about and exploring the vastness of our seemingly infinite universe. I like taking time to just sit or stand outside and just look in awe at how complex this little planet of ours really is. I’ve also come to the realization that we are smaller and more insignificant than we realize. I think that ultimately everything we do is for nothing. The earth will die eventually and so will we, unless we all don’t kill each other first. I have many, many mixed feelings on the outlook of the human race, our existence, and on life in general . Sometimes I don’t know what to think.
I also like reading graphic novels (aka comics lol). Specifically, I like the Batman sagas like Hush, The Long Halloween, etc. I also like the novels where Batman and Superman team up (Vengeance, Public Enemies, etc.) I have a few odd books too like Asylum which is about life at Arkham Asylum (where all the bad guys go to) … kinda creepy o_O. I also like the “Bourne” books (Robert Ludlum). I’m currently reading through The Bourne Betrayal by Eric Van Lustbader. Not too sure how I feel about it yet, but it seems promising.
I go to the movies at least once or twice a month. I like action and comedy the most. My favorites include the Batman saga (duh), the Bourne Saga, and the Terminator Saga. My favorite TV shows would have to be Family Guy, American Dad, Hell’s Kitchen, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Smallville, Dave Chapelle Show, SNL, and Futurama. I also sometimes watch the Batman cartoons o_o.
I like listening to music… all the time. I almost always have something playing. I listen to virtually every genre of music: anything from light instrumental, to metal, to rap, to ethnic beats, to trance, to orchestral soundscapes, etc. Oh yeah, I especially enjoy videogame and anime music. My favorite videogame music is still Final Fantasy music. Unfortunately, in the past few years FF music has become SO popular that the inevitable happened: it is now n00bish, uncool, and fanboy-ish to like it. Right… As long as it makes me happy, I’ll continue to listen to it and I won’t care what anyone thinks. One of the few types of music that I just do not care for is country. After living down here for so long you’d think I’d develop a taste for it heh.
I also enjoy playing my keyboard (piano). Even tho I cannot read sheet music, I can translate it and then learn the music by the letters. My favorite type of music to play is videogame music. Final Fantasy music, again, being my favorite. I also like *attempting* Yanni’s music, albeit a bit on the advanced side sometimes. Anyway, I’m also interested in making and recording music on my computer. Nowadays anyone can create professional recordings without a studio since a decent computer can do the job. Speaking of computers, I also love learning about them, working on them, and building them. I used to do a fair amount of programming early in the millennium but I lost the passion for it. Websites were also very fun to make and maintain, but I kinda lost interest in that too.
Another hobby of mine is collecting action figures. My main area of focus is the larger figures, not the typical 5-6 inch figures that you see everywhere, although I do collect some of those from time to time. I used to collect only Batman figures. Then I expanded to every superhero I liked. But I quickly found out that I would need a giant museum to hold them all. I then decided to focus on my top 3 favorite heroes: Batman, Spider-Man, and Superman. I decided on those 3 mainly because of my love for them during my childhood. That too became overwhelming. So currently, I am Batman-only (the way I started, lol). My main area of focus is still the larger 6th scale (12 inches) figures. I’ve sold a great many of my non-Batman items, but my collection is still fairly large and continues to grow. I now have figures from 2 inches to 30 inches in height. I also have figures that have cost me anywhere from $5 to $150. I’m also a sucker for dioramas and dramatic statues. Other than that I collect very little else. Every now and then I’ll pick up a cool looking dragon or videogame/anime figure.
Gaming is another way I pass the time. I mostly play RPG’s, FPS’s, and adventure/platform games. I’m obsessed with the Dynasty Warriors series. Yes, I know it’s just button mashing and pretty repetitive… but I’ve found it to be a tremendously great stress reliever. Plus it’s fun going up against hundreds of soldiers all by yourself. I also like the Nintendo DS a lot. Playing classic NES and SNES games on it has been a wonderful experience, as well as playing the new ones. I also have a few games on the PS3 (yes, the latest Dynasty Warriors game is probably inside it right now). The graphics are fairly impressive, but the games are damn expensive x_x. Anime is another great way to pass the time. Why is it that the Japanese know how to make awesome stuff? I enjoy most types of anime. For some reason Spirited Away completely blew me away (in terms or animation, story, and music). Damn you and your genius Miyazaki! I think my favorite series would have to be Wolf’s Rain.
Cooking has recently started peaking my interest. I love good food, hehe. And since I have a fast metabolism, I can eat and not gain a single pound. My favorite types of food would have to be Mediterranean and Asian (specifically Japanese and Filipino). Ugh… my mouth is watering now. I also enjoy almost anything that has fried chicken in it
I can now cook a few dishes but I still need a lot of practice. Maybe in the future when I get somewhat decent at it I’ll post some pics like Commie
That’s pretty much it for now. I’ll do my very best to keep this page updated.

Micro, macro, human or whatever scale it is so insignificant indeed (the actions, existence or whatever).
Also there are so many negative things in life… Is knowing that suffering is universal enough? Do we concentrate on the negative and consider good as normal too much? All I for now conclude and care about is to somehow provide happiness possible about the very few people close to me.
Haha, I’m very imprecise with my cookings and just taste oftenly =D
I guess, I could take measurements scribble it down, but sometimes fruit and meat needs a bit different balance due to whatever (seasonal) reason? =O
If we do ever happen to be close, I’ll be happy to make whatever I can for ya.

Meh. I should write that much in the ‘about me’ section. I just ran across this so I don’t think people will pay much attention.
