Heat
And no, I’m not talking about the damn weather.
Washu, the ten-month old, has been in her, “Okay, I am a growing up kitty and I am going to go into heat until either I get knocked up or until I am fixed. Mrooooooowl?”
We have yet to get her fixed, however, for whatever reason. I called several veterinary clinics in the area for info on pricing/age they service/etc., but only got two callbacks that were booked for two weeks…and while the parents complain of her new-found voice, they haven’t looked to do anything about it.
Funny that they complain when the cats pretty much live in the basement with me. x_x; I’m the one who has to live with it! She harasses our other kitty, who is male, and he apparently has tried to go along with it…but since he is neutered, there’s nothing doing there. Frustrating for the both of them; they end up quarreling and stuff, and then he comes and runs to me because she gets mean.
Poor baby..
