The thing with contests though… I never win. -_- But it’s fun none the less and I want publicity!
Diana Warner Studio
- A prestigious jeweler located in New York. Her stuff has been featured in magazines such as Glamour and Justine. Her most recent campaign having to do with a percentage of the money made through the purchase of an Obligato necklace that goes towards giving clean water in Africa to the needy.
Diesel Wall -
Basically a free for all to graphic artists/photographer/etc that get their work put on a huge wall in either Barcelona, Manchester, New York or Zurich. My entry is for Barcelona. Manchester is already closed and Zurich has been chosen. I can’t say I’m horribly fond of the one they choose. But none the less, why not?
Amazingly, they all seem to have a trend. And that trend is me. I need models I don’t have to pay. Anyone want to volunteer?
XIII Coat of Arms -
Nothing too fancy and it wasn’t a contest. Just me fiddling about in photoshop with just myself and a mouse. Not too bad for just that I’d like to think but I don’t know what the hell else to do with it so someone take it off my hands.
That’s just about it with a few side logos here and there that took a couple hours and got me no where. But I would like to think of it as slowly grooving into the whole portfolio. Heh.

Nice shield or coat of arms, looks nice and purdy. I tried to make a shield but o_o my shields are to dark and evil and menacing x.o;; and the people i showed it to don’t seem to like it.. o_O oh well..
o_o I sook at designs and such. So i wish you lots of luck! Also hows that portfolio coming along? x3; I’ve been dieing to see all your works~

Right now I’m trying to build the portfolio up with a lot of contests that I’ve entered. Right now I’m doing templates (brochures, banners, posters) for a neuropsychiatric company called Neurotrax. Of course it’s another contest but the pay off is $2,250, which isn’t too horrible. It’s my first attempt at making brochures and not being fond or any good at illustrator, it’s been a struggle. But with all this practice, I feel my skills may get better and to the point I can start making promised money with contracts soon.
I did see your shield btw and I thought it was bloody brilliant. I’m very envious of your photoshopping skills. Especially the painting/colouring and colour usage. All I can say to your stuff is WOW.

o.o Nothing to be envious about, there are things i can do and things i can’t, we are equal in photoshoppingness skills~ Your pretty good too, i love your wallpapers you made that are in the x111 gallery. I wish i could do stuff like that. I sook at adverts and such and i constantly need to ask my mom how the fook i’m suppose to draw certain posters the safety people come up with. She cuts stuff out of magazines and puts them together and i would have never thought of that. But when it comes to drawing posters x.o i honestly look for shiet to trace, if it’s close to the pose they want or something, i take it and trace it and change every aspect of it. For a girl like me who hates every day womens fashion, the characters i draw in these posters are certainly fashionable xD..
o.o Your really good too is all i have to say and i really do hope you land a job in being a graphic artist :D!
xD I also had a funky idea that we could get together and do a website, with tutorials and free layouts, blog themes, wallpapers and such, o.o but im also busy with playing video games i dunno if id have time for that… xD.. me and my damn games hahaha

That would be bloody awesome if we could come up with a site together. Ze powerhouses of photoshopping-ness! Mwahaha!
But like you I’m busy with Evie, hubby and trying to earn some side money here and there or even just publicity. Once I get my feet rooted in, it would be an idea to definitely consider!
