A rainy day in Hiroshima

Yesterday, we had rain. The whole day. Again. But well, what else do you expect of the rainy season? ^^ We definitely had no problem with that and went into the city together – ‘we’ beeing my language partner Masako, my friends from last year’s summer school MiMi and Manami, Old Johannes and me, New Johannes. As a group we went to Hiroshima to do some sightseeing and shopping and had a nice day, despite the weather. We Johannes-es bought ourselves jinbei for the coming yukata-festival (prepare for pics in a few weeks about this 😉 ) and together we visited the A-Bomb Dome and Peace Park. As my jacket wasn’t suited for this weather, I had to borrow an umbrella from Manami first, which was subject of many comments, before I bought my own umbrella for the following rainy weeks to come. But you’ll see it in the pictures 😉

Speaking of pictures: enjoy! (This time, you’ll get to the attachment page, when you click on an image. From there you can click the image again for the full size, or click on the next image shown there, to browse through the gallery. You can even leave comments for individual pictures).
