First day of work. Sale. Clothes shop. Constant walking around and rearranging of clothes racks, wearing flat shoes, for up to 3 hours at a time. My feet are killing me.
I was begging for my break to come, after spending most of my lunch walking to the pharmacy for some painkillers (for something unrelated to my feet, that was also killing me to the point where I’ve never wanted to be home so much in my life. Also, btw, there’s a reason that certain brands of paracetamol only cost 16p. They suck.).
Tomorrow I only have 4 hours, which should be good, but actually, 5 hours is the point where legally, you must have a break, so at 4, I’m just under - there will be no break. I actually preffered my old work for the fact that, at least when I was at the till, I could sit down when they shop wasn’t too busy. (Since I’m too short to reach across the counter, I still had to stand like :p)
My voice is still gone. Went to my mates pubcrawl/tapwater even so, thinking I’d be home early to have a lie down. I didn’t. Not many people turned up so I couldn’t really leave. (And I didn’t have enough money to buy her anything either) And it turned out fun anyway.
I also had to pay £5 for my lunch today (started at 7, so my lunch was 10-11) …turned out the sodding store bought a buffet for all the temps… all the temps that had a lunch after midday. Prats ¬_¬
They’re offering temp jobs, but quite frankly… I don’t want one there.
