Honey, I’m hoome!

…Actually, that doesn’t make much sense, since we dropped off Paul at his house on the way back down from Newcastle.

And after having a sun-side window at granma’s for a week, I’m still waking at the crack of dawn now. Bah.

Anyway, t’was good! Though I wasn’t there long enough to start talking geordie (that be, the Newcastle accent) myself which I usually pick up after a week or so, and I couldn’t find a Geordie Dictionary for Paulus since we went shopping in Sunderland instead of Newcastle.

The house prices are mad up there O.O I desperately hope there’s some music studios and animation studios up there because £90,000 gets a fairly good house up there… it doesn’t get a flat down here and that’s in a run down area down here.

And the Newcastle Metro/Underground has a total of 3 zones, and £2.70 for a 3 zone single? It’s £4 or so to travel in the same zone on the London Underground.

Paulus didn’t find Stottie Cake as “OMG WOW!” as me and sis did. Maybe it’s just the novelty value, that they don’t do it down south. But stotties are still nicer than normal bread. So there.

That’s of course, if we don’t go to Canada or America or something =P

Also, I got Shadow Hearts: To the New World and it’s not a patch on Shadow Hearts or Shadow Hearts: Covenant. It’s like Shrek 3: All jokes, crap story. So far anyway.

I’m all for witty characters and humour, but stupid characters for said humour is tiring. Like the Brazillian Ninja and his master, a giant drunken cat which I’m not sure is male or female.

The main character is also slightly Tidus-like (ie, immature and whiny), instead of the badass in the first two games. Everything’s been kiddified. Shadow Hearts is a horror game, not a family fun comedy adventure. Bah.

But I haven’t finished the game yet, so maybe it’ll get better.

Also, Paul took Need for Speed: Most Wanted which I thought I’d hate but actually want to try, and now he has it because it’s rightfully his game and that’s not fair =P
