Our shop is too small for the company to bother to put CCTV in, plus we're probably not making enough profit to keep it up anyway. Because we're short staffed, we haven't got enough people to eye the shop floor at busy times. Also because we have such an easy returns policy, someone will pick something off the shelf, damage it, bring it to the till and say they bought it, and it was faulty. Normally for no receipt you can only exchange/voucher it, but if it's faulty you HAVE to give them money for it. And you can't refuse unless you can prove it, although if you draw it out long enough (over whether it's actually faulty or not, say) they get fed up and storm off without it :P Clothes shop, probably most fitting to young adults.
