Let’s get it on

What’s the most effective way to cure a cold? I have no idea, but sitting outside and drinking whisky is probably not the best way, which is what I’m going to do tonight. I’ve been home alone, and sick, for almost a week, since my family went on vacation. So it’s going to be nice to go out and meet some friends for a change. And spring is here, the weather is fantastic so hopefully it won’t be that cold. And if it gets cold, well that’s why whisky was invented. So hopefully I’m going to have a good time.

Let’s get it on. I’m going to get so fucking smashed. I can’t wait.

In the past few months I have fallen ill (cold) too many times.
Always dress up warm enough, eat sorta healthy and drink enough fluids.

Most effective way to be cured and keep on working? A painful “chinese treatment”. Just involving some tiger balm or water and pulling pinching your skin at strategic places… You’ll still need some rest to fully recover, but one can continue working in the meantime.

Drinking increases your chances to be ill, especially when not dressed warmly enough, imho and observations.

ohhhhhhhhhh I love the burning sensation of cold vapor on my skin!

When X has a really bad cold I give him a massage over his chest and back as well as his face with Vick’s vapor rub then place a hot cloth over it. I’m sure he likes it.

I eat soup, play games and rest. ^_^

    ^ love it in fact.

Ironically, I actually did manage to lose a cold several times when I was ‘young’ by getting rather intoxicated. Woke up the next morning with a hangover but without a cold.

Burning or tingling? Tingly I can deal with. Burning, not so much.

Sounds like a nice idea, though. :D

Ha, X…you’re trying to make yourself sound old [@ 'young'] by saying that. But that is a pretty odd fact.
