I finally got Sims 2 working again after I figured out that 1. there is a set order for the expansions to be installed in (this was causing the problem I was having with the Nightlife exp.) and 2. finding out that after you’ve installed the irritating SimPack files you have to take them out of the EA/Downloads folder.
I’ve slowly been working on building up my Sim world again and who best to start of with first than Sim-Me and Sim-Garr! I found us a lovely old Firestation HQ from the SimsResources website and have been working on decorating and fixing it up a notch or two. The only problem being that occasionally, usually when I’m doing something a bit intricate or if I haven’t saved for a while, Sims crashes and I have to start all over again. Starting over again is a big pain especially when it literally takes 15 minutes to load the game, load the town and then load the house… CRY
So I’ve uploaded the current family I made and hopefully I’ll finish their home soon too so I can work on my other Sim buddies!

I opened it up in Photoshop hoping to alter the red to pink but… this mass texture thing appeared before me and I got so confused that I cried and decided to go for red! Well, I didn’t cry literally… but I was a bit annoyed because I’d heard that it was easy to alter! Boo-hoo!
