I had a nice big post lined up ready to publish and then firefox decided to crash on me and took the post with it (thanks for that).
Basically, I don’t have a lot of anything to report about that anyone would care about whatsoever. But I do (now) have a job. Well, I was offered it like a fortnight ago but since nobody asked I didn’t tell anyone :p It’s not a great job but it still pays and it seems to be a nice, young environment to work in so I’m looking forward to starting next month. Of course, in all honesty, I’m looking forward to getting paid more because I have a ton of debts on my back from when I lost my job at Christmas.

Oh oh.. but I did ask in the sentence “What have you been up to?” Broad sentence, I know.
Congrats on the job though! What will you be doing exactly then, if you don’t mind me asking? I think anything is better than working as a Sales Representative for Avon. It may sound fancy but it blows.

It’s a call centre job *shudders* but it’s for that company IKEA that I really adore so hopefully… it’ll be all right. Although I’ve never actually worked in a call centre before, I guess you could say that I applied for a position as a “last resort” since I wasn’t having much luck getting my usual kind of job.
I’m fine. My health is getting the better of me as usual and I’m waiting to hear back on a blood test result to see whether I now have diabetes to add to my list of problems. Other than that I’ve been wasting my time on FFXI, working on my site, odd bits of jewellery, and the occasional bout of typing for my mother. But… I have been totally spacing out in bed until about 11am which isn’t so bad…

Diabetes? Oh dear.. do you feel terrible when you don’t get enough or have too much sugar then?

IKEA is pretty brill. ^_^ I’m sure you’ll handle customers just fine, dear.
If they give you too much trouble, I’ll come over and kick their butts! *karate chops table* No one messes with my mates!

I got the results back today and they’re clear. Thanks to Garr for making me ever paranoid every time I got a headache or felt tired.
I don’t think the customers will be bad. Apparently they’re just general enquiries like stock checking. There’s also a team that are dealing with the new shop online stuff so hopefully I’ll get put in with them (because of my ‘net experience).
