I finally finished it and ordered it on Tuesday. Looks like I’ll get it in time *victory sign*

Here’s some of the pages for you to oogle at. I didn’t add all of them because some of them really suck. They’re also pretty big files so I made smaller versions. I added some descriptions too, but I have no idea how you guys will read them, heh.

We got some points on our Wii at the weekend which means, you guessed it, shopping! Bought the classics Golden Axe and Toejam and Earl both from the Mega Drive. How awesome are those games? Been playing them with Garr at the weekend and we got our arses handed to us playing on Toejam and Earl. Glad to see some other classics listed on there too like the Sonic games, Street Fighter 2, Ecco the Dolphin(!?), Altered Beast (Wise fwom your gwave!) and some of the Super Mario ones too. Going to have to keep an eye on the list to see what else they add to it.

Also, can’t believe how close I am to finishing Garr’s obnoxious (yes it’s obnoxious now) calendar! I finished drawing October last night and did a FFXI screenshot for November with Garr last night and then another one this morning for December. Just inking a few pictures now and then all I need to do is scan them in and do whatever altering bits need altering. Can’t say I love all of the months though, you can definitely tell I rushed September and October and had no clue what to do for July, heh. Loving August and November though. I’ll show off the months once I’ve preened them all and got the calendar ordered.

Also also, my brother finally semi-officially moved out yesterday which means I will hopefully be able to move into his attic bedroom soon. Just got to wait for him to collect the last few (read tons) of stuff he has left in there and I can paint over his brown walls with some white emulsion. Thinking of going for white walls with some painted bright pink (why not!?) but got to keep the cream/brown carpet since it’s not that old. Oh well, better than my mix of a room I live in now. I’ll post pictures of its progress :p

…aren’t as bad as Mondays. Although I still couldn’t get any sleep so I’m in full zombie mode this morning. Especially when I had to get up early for a new sofa arriving.

I really need to start working on that calendar again today. I need to add something to July and I think I’ve got an idea for August that I can use the FFXI Viewer and Photoshop for. Only… 5 more months now (hurrah!?) I still need to scan the drawings I’ve already done for the previous months, who knows, I may even add them to the gallery.

On a side note, I can’t help but squeal in joy when I use these blogs. They’re so great *girly squeal*

It’s nice and easy to do it the way I’m doing it (using the Viewer and importing into Photoshop) rather than the way Garr was doing it (using some 3D software… ) but for some reason the latest Viewer (which has more equipment thus making my life easier) makes the characters slightly crinkly around the edges… and I can’t seem to get rid of it I suppose it doesn’t look that bad… but it annoys me :p

Also… what is it about bras that make them squeak so much?

After Wednesday’s events I decided to stay over at Garr’s for the rest of the week and the weekend to give myself a break from home (I have difficult parents, ok?)

Yesterday was pretty much spent getting my things ready, sorting out some housework and generally trying to organise things like… finally getting a dentist appointment sorted out after a year and finding out when I am actually going to the hospital for a ‘check up’. All useful things you see. Then in the evening I took my multitude of stuff and travelled over to Garr’s using our wonderful bus services. Not much to really say… registered myself on Archlord (my own copy) and played on that in the evening. I’m now an amazing level 7 (go me!) I must say that the graphics on the game look so much more appealing on Garr’s PC than my laptop (and the clipping issue still gets on my nerves)

Garr had to go to work today so I went to Meadowhall (ick) early on so I could get myself a little USB mouse for my laptop (I always keep pinching the one from my PC hehe) So I travelled on a bus full of blue-rinses and when we go there -omg- it was so packed to say it was only 11am! I suppose everyone would be doing some ‘last minute’ Christmas shopping or something. But it did make me wonder why there were so many children there when they don’t actually finish school until next week. Hmmm.

So, what did I buy? I got my cute little USB mouse (and it glows different colours! I swear I didn’t know that when I bought it!) a lovely shiny Christmas bag for yet another person getting something :p Some chocolates (for said person) the latest Tattoo magazine (Mmm, bold colours are so hawt) some nuts for Garr (yes, he does not have enough nuts. I even bought him two bags) and a box of cookies!! Gaaaahhh cooooookies… I haven’t had those cookies for ages! Anyone who lives in England should have Millie’s Cookies. They’re fairly expensive but they’re oh-so nice!

Since I got back I’ve been working on doing the new splash page for Garr’s FFXI site (www.obeywhitepigeon.com for anyone who wants to go have a laugh at it) and I thought I’d upload my fancy bit of work ^^ I think I’ve been at it about 3/4 hours now? It’s a pain because I had to find out the names of our members and then work out what armour and stuff they wore and which face type they had (since you can choose between 12 each race). Still isn’t quite finished but it’s practically done now And I don’t really care what you think, because I’m pretty proud of it.
