i just wanted to get some thoughts off my chest. good to record these things somewhere, this’ll be a private post

1) why is the One campaign using a frickin WHITE wristband? that’s possibly the single worst color. It’s like saying, white unity, white rocks, let’s help Africans and poor people. Honest to God, the first time i was introduced to this thing was an ad in Time Magazine with Bono, in all white, on an all white background, with his white armband, saying ONE, with some caption about helping african orphans. It just all seems to have some very weird color schemes that play into white supremacy, KKK-ish. Not that it’s KKKish, it just seems it.

2) do eggs come out dry? that would seem incredibly painful. like giving birth to a big smooth rock. very painful. and evidently, roosters serve no purpose reproductively. I’m therefore highly confused by their purpose

3) Dave Chappelle’s thingy about how white comedy is all about domestic stuff and boring, whereas black comedy tends to focus on darker stuff: crack addicts, druggies, and all sorts of violent, dark stuff
