No fancy observations
Posted by Saint under Thoughts
Conflict seems such a key component of what makes humanity human.
This stems off a few observations, and I’ll start with sayings.
“The truth is often stranger than fiction” is a popular saying, at least here in the US. And this can be true, consider all the weird shite that happens in our world. I’d offer an example, but I’m not some stupid witty expose show on UPN (hehe, UPN). On the other hand, there’s Occam’s Razor, which is less known. That one simply states “one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.” In layman’s terms, it basically states one should find the simplest possible explanation. So it’s not really contradictory. But close…very close. >.>
Then there’s all the war, violence. There’s warring emotions, warring thoughts, party-based governments are based off conflict between parties.
