I just finished Jedi Academy, which I started pretty much two days ago, and I’ve been playing on and off, though intensely when I do. Ok game, pretty lightsaber moves, fun when you pull ‘em off and see your character dance around with his lightsaber. But one thing really stuck in my craw, several actually, but I’ll start with this.

why do voice actors always make Jedi sound like the most awkward word in the universe? they’re twisting it all around and making it sound like somebody’s playing the xylophone on their vocal chords, and it comes out all wonky. Any respect I might’ve had for a Jedi, which isn’t much seeing as how the main character seems to keep his lightsaber up his ass when he’s not using it he’s that stuck up, is pretty much gone.

And also a thought, if you’ve ever played this or Jedi Knight 2, or whatnot, there’s the handy little throw your lightsaber move that Darth Vader introduced to us in Return of the Jedi, albeit these are slightly more polished. But my thought is this, why not just use the Force and control multiple lightsabers, all floating in the air like, or even just control your own with the Force? None of that messy jumping around shit, all you’d have to protect is your little lightsaber hilt while pressing the attack. You’d be far better off. :/
