I don’t know how many of you have heard of Supersize Me, much less seen it. It came out like a year ago? Two? Pretty big in America, but an independant documentary, so maybe by big I mean the coverage was focused on the movie’s topic.
Supersize Me basically followed the guy who made the movie, Morgan Spurlock, around as he embarked on a mission to eat nothing but McDonald’s for 30 days straight, 3 square meals a day, had to supersize if asked, and some other assorted details.
In the end, he calls it quits after 24ish days due to health concerns. Stuff like his weight, energy levels, biochemical levels (haha, biochemical levels…look at me being all sci-fi-ish), etc. Of course, health people, anti-McDonalds people, and just all sorts of Internet people jumped all over it obviously saying “look look! McDonalds is bad…America sucks of course, blah blah blah.” There was also the overwhelming sense of “ewww…I’m never eating that stuff again, I’d feel sick.”

I dunno, it made me hungry as hell for some MickeyDs. And goddamn it, I’m sure I’m not the only one. I dunno, just…seeing a Big Mac for the first time in years…even though it was a movie, I mean, it unlocked some hidden craving. This is actually coming out a lot creepier than it did in my mind, but basically, having been pretty much fast food free for years, it was pretty freaky. But wow…it looked so good!

This was a year ago, but why is it relevant to me now? It’s not, except that I really really want some KFC like I really really wanted some MickeyDs, and I know of only two places, one 45 minutes away by car (which I don’t got), one that I can go to if I wait just 8 more days til I get back to school (

I do remember reading once that someone found a piece of paper once in an old bureau in a room rented out to boarders. Said paper listed eleven herbs and spices…turned out not to be a coincedence.
