Car fun, part … I lost track
And so, 2 weeks after the last 850 euro repair… here’s a picture of my car standing on the highway with me sitting in the grass, waiting for the garage to tow the damn thing as it’s got the exact same problem again.

I hate cars
Mine’s at the garage again and I just got a call that it’s either the ignition system (700+ euro) or the computer (1400+ euro) or both which is causing it to die repeatedly while driving.
I’m so sick and tired of car repairs by now it’s not even funny any more.

New phone
My old one was starting to desintegrate so I finally had to get a new one (new subscription, old phone number). If people who have my number could send me a text message with their name I can be a lazy ass and not have to copy all the numbers.

It’s a sunny day outside
and life is good.
(now if only I didn’t have to work today it’d be perfect)

Mission server
The second Xeon is in, and it’s yummy to see 8 threads like that. Ordered 3 harddrive trays, so now all I need is 3 harddrives and it’s Thunderbirds away.
Still trying out a bunch of different Linux distros. OpenSuse 10.2 was nice but too desktop focused and a bit of a mess with updates, Fedora Core 6 felt surprisingly solid, now it’s on to Gentoo.
