Last week 4 new relais for 320 euros.
Yesterday the car got broken into, window smashed in and the Mio satnav stolen.
Today the car’s at the garage for a 30000km big checkup and to have the window replaced, total amount to be determined…
The fun never ends.

Brilliant weekend, went to the circus, went to a birthday and went out for a drive through the Limburg countryside and a walk in Valkenburg. Piccies to be added.

last sunday wasn’t my smartest idea ever. You can’t see too well how steep it was, but we were exhausted and out of breath when we finally got to the top. Fun in hindsight of course.
Sitting down for coffee I read that the three country point used to be a four country point between 1816 and 1919, with the now missing country of Moresnet. I’d never heard of it, much to my surprise. You learn something new every day.
No matter how many people tell me it’s a game of skill, it’s still a game of luck in my book. Sucky cards are sucky cards, and you can bluff ’til kingdom come but anyone can smoke you if they have better cards, which they get by chance and not skill.
I still don’t quite get what the big fascination with the game is, seems everyone here is playing it these days. It was fun for an evening, but not something I’d want to play every week.
Although I did enjoy winning a couple of times. :x
My colleague was so surprised that I brought sandwiches to work with me that he had to take a picture capturing the moment.
We spend waaaaay too much time there. But it’s fun.

We’re kinda busy here converting a one bedroom bachelor pad apartment into a home for three, and seeing as I work full-time as well that leaves very little time for blogging. Or doing anything on the computer really. But I haven’t forgotten about you, and new things are under way.
