The iPad has been released! And I still can’t think of why I would want one other than the cool new factor. I’m dreading the release of the iPhone 4G later this year though as I’m on a 2 year subscription for my 3G, and given how much I <3 the 3G I know I’m going to want the 4G.
World of Warcraft proves to be more of a timesink than I’d anticipated. It’s still seriously fun, level 66 and going strong.
Vacation was fun, chilling at Centerparcs. Archery was memorable, as well as kickin’ back in the pool with the Mrs. and the kids. Watching Amy splash about while Eve was running, crashing and diving everywhere and from everything like an unguided missile was awesome, regardless of my usual dislike of anything to do with swimming.
My contract got renewed for the next 2 years. Demanding job, but satisfying, and a boss who keeps pushing me to do better. Feels like I’ve got a career again instead of just a job.
So yeah, blogging. No time, no energy, but mostly too lazy because I’d rather play WoW. Checking out the themes available at the moment I still don’t see one that does what I want here, so I’ll probably continue spending the odd hour here and there working on the theme I’m using here. I’ve got a few kinks to work out in that I need the CSS to change based on the category (or other variables), which isn’t possible with this theme at the moment. But I like a good challenge. Most WordPress themes still hardly use any of the gallery functionality, which is a shame given its potential.
Oh, and spring time! Sunshine how I’ve missed thee. Bring on the green everywhere so we can unleash our Pip and Voidwalker on the unsuspecting masses in parcs and playgrounds everywhere.
