Dear daughter

Thank you for making even random trips to the grocery store more interesting, by pointing at the hottest woman around whenever mommy isn’t with us and screaming ‘mama’.

It’s the little things that count

Sometimes it’s just a stroll around the block

or acting goofy with the kids

or seeing them be happy.

So yeah…

obviously, following the last post, and the lack of posts thereafter, we got sucked back into the wonderful World of Warcraft.
So happy new year, bla bla bla, we’re back off to Azeroth.
This time as 2 paladins on an rp server. There’s not a lot of roleplaying but there’s no asswipes either, so double win. Me as a protection pala tanking and the missus as a holy paladin healing. Healadins apparently don’t suck, it’s just other players that suck. It’s a nice combo to play with, very strong and with lots of heal and AoE abilities at the same time.
I like. Good company, good times.

Happy holidays

2010, it’s been one hell of a ride. Goodbye and good riddance to it, bring on 2011.
But at the same time it’s made us stronger, better, and maybe more aware of what matters.
So bring on the holidays, they’re going to be happy indeed.

Happy holidays and best wishes to all of you, well some of you.
Merry Christmas and have a blast in 2011.

Stranded in the snow

I was supposed to work today, but the weather’s really gotten bad.
The parking lot behind the apartment complex here is totally snowed in, and there were a bunch of us trying to get out this morning, but to no avail. The cars are all just spinning in place, and even if you do get someone to help push the damn thing a few feet you’re stuck again. And again.
So we’re all working from home today. Yay for vpn.

Buses, mail delivery, nothing’s driving today. Even truckers are advised to stay home because a lot of trucks have gotten stuck. I can’t remember it ever having been this bad.
So much for global warming.

A snowy morning in Maastricht

This morning I dropped off Katelynd at the university in Maastricht, after which I had an hour or 2 to kill. So I decided to just walk around town and take some pictures before daylight fully kicked in. So enjoy the snow scenery.

I apologize for the picture quality, I left the Olympus at home and Kate had my iPhone, so I was left with only an HTC phone to take pictures, and god they’re terrible.

We’re back! Now what?

Awesome. The site’s been down for a month and we’ve apparently completely fallen off the Google bandwagon, and therefor for all intents and purposes, off the internet.

We moved and so did our internet connection, except my ISP (xs4all) failed to send me a new modem 3 times in a row, resulting in the extreme long downtime of the sites.

So yeah, no traffic left whatsoever, now what?
At least it’s good to be back. I’ll add some vacation piccies, some from the move, and then finally upgrade to WordPress 3 and take it from there.

I like to move it move it

We’re gonna be moving soon. So soon in fact that we’ll have a bit of a problem with our internet connection, so the site will probably be down for the first days in July.

Scouting the uni

Our main mission today was checking out whereabouts in Maastricht the faculty for Arts & Culture was seeing as Katelynd’s probably going to start there in September.
Our sidemissions included eating icecream and enjoying the sunny day.

Work in progress... not home!
Trying to get all/most of the new code working before I start on the eyecandy.
