English… ‘t is a weird language at times. Can’t think of any examples in my native Dutch, but I’m sure there are some.

So someone wins a race, amongst hundreds of competitors.
He wins that race years in a row, a record breaking seven times in fact.
It is known that a lot of his competitors use performance enhancing drugs, and yet this man keeps winning time and time again.
And then still people act surprised when he confesses to using performance enhancing drugs himself.
Really?

I remember a decade (or two) ago a teabag was good for a pot of tea. Now a teabag is good for a cup of tea. Same size teabag, same size content. Where does the difference between a whole pot and a cup come from? What do they put in that bag?
