Q: How do I register my nickname?
A: Type /msg NickServ REGISTER password email

password = whatever password you choose to use. It is suggested that your password is not easily guessed, such as a
short word, your name, or your nickname. Passwords here are case-sensitive, meaning that if you use capital letters in
any part of the password when you create it, you will need to use those capitals in the same places when you identify with
NickServ when typing your password (more about identifying later). email is your email address.

Q: How long will my nickname remained registered?
A: Your nickname will remain registered as long as you log onto the server at least once every 45 days.
If you go longer than 45 days between logins, you will have to re-register your nick (provided that someone else
has not come along and done so). Also, if you don't log in, and your name gets dropped out of the NickServ database,
any channels, bots and memos that are assigned to you also get removed. It's a good idea to sign in frequently and
identify yourself with NickServ.

Q: How can I be sure that nobody else uses my nickname online?
A: If you have the "secure" option set for your nick, anyone attempting to sign on with a registered nickname must
identify himself/herself to NickServ. If the individual cannot enter information matching that registered with NickServ,
he/she will not be able to stay connected with that nickname--he/she will be forced to change their nickname. To set the
secure option, type /msg nickserv SET SECURE {ON | OFF}

NOTE: It is recommended that that "secure" be set to ON.

Q: How do I identify myself to NickServ when I logon?
A: Type /msg NickServ IDENTIFY password Alternately, you can simply type /identify password

Q: Can I associate a web address, email, and ICQ identity to my IRC nickname?
A: You sure can! To associate an email address with your nick, type /ns SET EMAIL address To associate a web address
to your nickname, type /msg nickserv SET URL url To associate your ICQ identity to your IRC nick, type /msg nickserv
SET ICQ number

Q: Help! I have forgotten my password! Is there a way you can tell me what it is?
A: Join #TheRealms and ask (nicely ofcourse ;). The password wil be sent to you. If you've used a fake addie, tough cookie.

Q: Is there a way one can tell whether a nickname seen online is registered and/or if the person using the nick is the real owner of that nickname?
A: Yes, there is. Type /msg nickserv STATUS NICKNAME

Q: Ok, I typed the above command. What does this number mean?

online. Possible codes, along with their meanings, are as follows:
