Iron Man - the movie
Written on Sep 10, 2007 // Entertainment, Movies.
So far so good, it looks absolutely awesome. I LOVE the suit, but Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) comes across as a bit too cocky compared to the Tony of later years, so it’ll be interesting to see how they ‘adapted’ the comic book story line.
Even cooler, I started singing Black Sabbath’s Iron Man and ten seconds later Sabbath kicks in in the actual trailer. Bonus points for using that track.

Sep 11 2007, 2:54haha, that movie looks very sexy so far
cockiness, yeah, the whole “I have a purpose now”, very corny and contrived ugh
the whole terrorist premise thing as well is a little heavy handed
but watching that bigass hulking iron suit destroy …oh so sweet. i can’t wait for some action shots of the proper Iron Man suit…and is that a War Machine suit he’s fighting against?

Wow, “some” loud sound is enough to power the suit D= Amazing (>o_o)

Sep 11 2007, 10:52Well…the later Tony, like in recent events (Civil War and stuff) is pretty cocky…he made sure every super hero who didnt follow him in his quest for super hero registration was send to a camp, and used those super heroes as his own army and even used villains for his cause..so yeah, i would call that cocky.
I feel bad that the orinal story (the one where he was caught by asian fellers) is a little outdated…cause the hole Iraq/war on terrorism thing is a little blah too me, but then again maybe it will work.
Being a big marvel fan i do like the scene where he shows off his flying moves and the scene where he just finished his suit (love the big ol’skool robot suit =D)
