Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Logo for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

This new series picks up where Terminator 2: Judgement Day left off, with Sarah Connor going into hiding with her son John, the future leader of the resistance against Skynet. Now you know that turning this into a series would have to suck. But strangely, it doesn’t. I’ve seen the first 2 episodes and it definitely makes me stick around for more. They actually, the shock, seem to be going somewhere and have a continuous story worked out for the entire thing instead of getting lost in loose episodes. Of course how this changes when the shows becomes inevitably popular and extends beyond a season or two is anybody’s guess but for now it’s action packed, it’s got interesting characters and development, and the story is enough to make you come back for more just to see what happens next. I don’t want to give away anything and spoil it for you, so just watch the first episode.

  1. I saw the first two episodes as well and I must say I’m hooked. It’s already better than the horrible Terminator 3 movie. Now if they would only make a real life Batman series… (Adam West doesn’t count!)

  2. I haven’t watched them yet for fear of severe disappointment.
Then again, I wasn’t exactly a huge fan of the Terminator series to begin with, but still..

  3. And…WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ADAM WEST DOESN’T COUNT?!

  4. She’s one hot mama. I rather enjoyed it. After the first episode I thought ‘Well… I will reserve my judgement for the next one’. So an hour later, they give you the next one and I think ‘Hmm.. this is going somewhere’
