A quickie painting done in Photoshop, 800 x 600 is the size I worked on since I didn't feel like spending days on something, I just wanted to chill. And not spend 3 hours just doing sunset skies like I have for my animation project. ¬_¬
In Scottish folklore there is a legend about a legendary creature called the Selkie. They are seals that can take their skin off to become human, and put their skin back on to become seals again. If someone were to steal a Selkie's skin they then have power of the Selkie, and can make that Selkie their wife, but she will always be looking out to see.
(In comparison the male Selkie has power over all human women and can lure them into the sea to drown them. Figures.) |
