What was originally a speedpaint of a monster from my animation turned into a... not so speedpaint.
This chimera of creatures is combined of a lion, a goat, and a peacock, with come from a fabricated coat of arms.
Photoshop, several hours.
As a sidenote, I'm amused that the verification thingy was "Urk up" |

I like the drawing, but the proportions seem a bit off. When you look at the size of the head, neck and tail and their position that leaves room for a body the size of the head. |

Ah, in that case I may draw the feet on it sticking out, rather than tucked in under the wing, to kind of give a better perspective shot (I think the tail throws the perspective off by being too thick so the perspective leads right-left rather than rightfront-leftback? I'll redo that too.)
I modelled the thing with a slightly too short a back when I got to 3D, which is actually very awkward to animate without tying its legs in knots :P |

I like it XD Really love your shading work. Looks really smooth, can tell he's a furry beasty :3
I think the proportions can be toyed with as he's a mythical beast anyway. Looks like he's actually really big but just with smaller front paws (could have really big back paws like a mammal t-rex :O?)
