Hey ho, hey ho, it’s off to work I go
Written on Oct 10, 2004 // Happenings.Well, in about 9 hours anyway.
I’m starting tomorrow as sysadmin, which should be interesting seeing as I’m no sysadmin… I know it, they know it, but apparently they want me anyway. Right man for the job and all that.
So I should be getting nervous right about now, but instead I’m just really looking forward to get started.
It’s a challenge. My old job was getting a bit of a drag because thanks to constant company downsizing there was little room for improvements and innovations, it was more about maintaining status quo.
Seeing as I’m new (well, officially anyway) to the ways of the Jedi, eh sysadmin, it’s extra incentive to raise the bar and go for it.
