The pudding

Written on Jun 06, 2006 // Happenings.

For a while now CommS ‘n me have been discussing friendships and relationships, what’s fake and what’s not, how we look back on past events with the females, how we think people look at us and how a lot of it seems shallow and temporary at best. Ofcourse on the other hand I’ve been wondering if maybe we weren’t just being bitter and jaded.
Then again, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and yesterday was a nice reality check.
So to the 2 people who remembered my birthday; thanks :)

And on a different note, I’ve added a little thingie at the bottom of this page which shows the coverart of what I have playing in Winamp at the moment (assuming I’m home and have Winamp running ofcourse).

Birthday\’s must be so passé or something.
    Silence and disappearence is in!

    Well… I can’t help but feel ashamed.
I really didn’t remember X’s birthday, I only had a vague idea about what month.
Not meant as an excuse, just to say “mea culpa” and “I’m not silent and certainly haven’t disappeared” !
    *ehm*
Though next time X and I have a drink… I certainly owe him the first couple rounds of drinks.
And if CommS happens to be present during that occasion: I’m buying you too, I insist.

Even if it was only for the fact that CommS is one of those two who remembered ;-)

    *shuts down computer*
    *performs walk of shame*

aww X-sama, I forgot your birthday, but I’m not sure I ever had memorized it in the first place… *bows* sorrysorrysorry….T_T and happy belated birthday.

I think at this point, I know so many people from online and IRL that I’ve given up on trying to memorize birthdays…I forget mine all the time hehe. But jaded towards women? hmm…not much I can contribute there given that I don’t talk to you or Comms-san half as much as I should sorry T_T

Again, sorry for forgetting and hope you had a happy birthday ^_~

Everyone got their own kind of relationship stances, priorities and etc D:

Personally my family and I don’t really celebrate birthdays.

I don’t know the birthdays of our staff either D:
And I only send stuff around Dec. to those I do have an address given from them, not that oftenly either.

I only care about 3 friends I still meet IRL and online just a few D:
Especially if they gave me an address to send stuff to and keep in touch :p

Thanks, and it’s cool. I’ve never liked my own birthday much, for various reasons. It’s just always interesting to see who remembers it, especially from all the people who always either make a fuss about their own birthday or who’ve said they hop by on mine.
Also a good time to ehm, ‘restructure’ my contacts. ;)

    Oy! Belated happy birthday. :B

I did remember it (as in, I noted it in my calendar thing), but I only saw it after it was too late, so I forgot about it again. XD

Anyway, live long and prosper and such.. or just live merrily and prosper anyway (with the smokin’ an’ all :O :P )
