Getting pulled over for speeding on the highway by a Real American Cop ™ after only 15 minutes of driving here: priceless.
Luckily a nice guy and he only gave me a warning. So yeah, here we are in the US, alive and kicking and all is well outside of the expected knackeredness. Both mummy and the baby are doing fine, we had a checkup yesterday.
Americans are weird, I got a Subaru Impreza for the price of the cheapest car rental (a Focus) because according to the lady behind the counter they were both the same. It’s strange being here again, especially knowing it’s going to be for quite a while.

Nov 17, 2007, 17:52We’re working hard on things that are nice in America. So far we have the good things of:
- Not having to use a parking meter everytime we go to the store

Nov 17, 2007, 13:28I love rental cars in the US. Even though my company pays up to Intermediate (Pontiac G6 , Chevy Malibu) I always get lucky with an upgrade deal. Last month @ Dallas I got a Grand Prix - which for Euro standards is mucho car/performance for your buck :-)
