English… ‘t is a weird language at times. Can’t think of any examples in my native Dutch, but I’m sure there are some.

Normally people have to write a letter of motivation and what not to apply for a Master’s degree and then keep their fingers crossed hoping they’ll be accepted. My other half has in the past week been invited by 2 professors for their respective master’s course.
Gotta admit, I’m pretty damn proud.
Last Sunday morning we got up early enough to have the hills all to ourselves.

In 1997 Michael Dell famously commented on the state of Apple at the time saying he’d “shut the company down and give the money back to the shareholders.”
Seeing Apple rise to become the biggest tech company in the world while Dell crumbled must have been humbling enough, but now the joke has come full circle as Dell is giving the money back to his own shareholders and going private. Oh sweet karma.
When I started Steam last week I was greeted by the above message which left me a little curious. I don’t recall signing up for any beta, so given my experience with the whole Steam program I think the Mac client was still a beta.
Haven’t had much time to play with it yet, I hope the back function finally works as it’s supposed to.
Grab it while you can, it allows arcade roms to be added without jailbreaking.
