Coffee, it’s good for your skin too

Posted on April 18, 2008, by XIII, under Random.

Roasted coffee beans
New research seems to indicate that drinking coffee helps your skin bounce back better healing cells that have been damaged by the sunlight.
One more reason why drinking coffee is good. As if we needed another excuse.

Coffee gives me even worse breath in the morning. Bleh. But I don’t mind the occasional cup or two in a week now.

No wonder my skin is so ugly (^OO)>

Also untraditional coffee plantations are environmentally/ecologically very harmful~

“Coffee increases the risk of acid reflux and associated diseases.”

“Research also suggests that drinking caffeinated coffee can cause a temporary increase in the stiffening of arterial walls.”

“Excess coffee consumption may lead to a magnesium deficiency or hypomagnesaemia, and may be a risk factor for coronary heart disease.”
~Wikipedia

Also don’t forget staining of the teeth~

It’s probably another moderation issue. Have enough caffeine and your skin is nice and bouncy. Have too much and you have a racing-pulse-and-heartburny death =P I’d never heard of the magnesium deficiency thing until now though

Coffee and cigarettes, the only thing I need in the morning.

Considering “increased performance” and withdrawal symptoms, in a large percentage that tried stopping it, it should be considered a soft drug as well~

Yay for benefits. But is that coffee, or caffeinated somethings in general? Would guarana have similar effects?

Benefits and major bad things are attributed to some elements within the brew~
