Have been in Dell printer hell for over 2 months. We bought a 968 AIO Wireless which prints about 3 pages then stops. I have been on the phone 12 times for over 40 hours with them. Of course after talking to them the printer always prints a Test Page. After getting off the phone with them, it will print 1 or 2 pages and then just stops. Raised enough hell with them that they sent me a (new) printer. Hmm, I bought a new printer from them but the (new) one they sent me says refurbished on the box. Well, got on the phone with them again so I could get the printer set up correctly. Got it to print while on the phone with them (they must know something about the phone that I don't). Got off the phone with them, it printed 3 pages and then stopped. Everything goes into the print que but never prints out. Don't know if I can call them again. My blood pressure is off the chart and I am on BP medicine. So can't get out of Dell Hell and am paying for something we can't use. Will never buy Dell again. I always new there was a reason I never wanted to go to India.

Probably an engineer from Getronics?

Had to call HP and Dell numerous times profession-wise Dell initially screwed up, but has solved the problem by sending not one but two engineers, HP never really gives me any trouble... but that's the business support desk, don't know about the rest of HP's support.

If you're in for a laugh try the Acer helpdesk, they're awesome (ly stupid)...

Ironically, the original engineer, who works for a company that does maintenance for Dell, dropped by today with a spare part. The spare part being a full scanning unit for a printer that has no scanning problems.
He said wtf when I explained what had happened, he called Dell and now I'm getting a new printer on Monday.

Well, we use Veenman for our printers and have a support contract with them. Not all bad, if we have a real emergency they come rather quickly. Our printers are almost all HP's but old (I guess my boss wouldn't pay enough ;)) so a lot of things wrong often with those. Come to think of it, the support desk is a nightmare, actually, making you look stupid, but then again, maybe that's because I'm a woman ;) But no questionnaires at least ;)
