Apple sues New York City

over trademark infringement for the design of NY’s GreeNYC campaign logo. Me thinks Apple missed April fools day by a few days.

    Soo.. what? Apple will sue anyone who has an apple as their logo? Kind of childish.

    The comments the people left say that they’re no longer suing. Or that they never did in the first place?

    As far as I know this kind of copyright infringement will only hold if there’s a danger of people mistaking the one for the other…. Like when Apple started selling music and the Apple music label sued them.
    I hardly think anyone is going to try and buy computers from the City of New York’s environmental drive……

    Maybe Apple is a bit concerned that they might be viewed as “environmentaly friendly” :D
