Application launcher: Launchy

Launchy
Awesome little program. Install it, launch it, and it indexes your files and programs. So the next time you either want to start a program or for example want to listen to a song you press alt+space and launchy pops up, type a few letters of either the application or the song and hit enter. It’s a real time saver. I was already hooked on Quicksilver on the Mac, this is the equivalent of it for Windows. It comes with a load of skins to give it a different look. It also has a plugin system for adding functions, things like a calculator are already built in, or an url launcher.
Give it a try, I love it.

  1. Hello XIII,
I want someone to write a post on ‘experience as a blogger in beginning.’ I couldn’t find anyone but you. Can you please right a guest post for me? The post must contain everything you did, you thought, you learned etc in beginning. If you are ready contact me. Please email the post.

  2. Hehe, hi Jaseem, that’s a nice idea, but why don’t I write it for my blog and you can link to it and add your own comments and tips? ;)
Also my site never started as a blog, this blog was only added after 3 years or so.

Hmm, I think I need to add a contact page with my email address and stuff, the comments are used for commenting on my blog entries.

i saw the same sort of thing on the mac, and thought it would be nice for windows as well…thx X!

  4. Oooh *downloads* I see me using this handy tool in the future…

    Thanks for the link!

  5. Thank you XIII. If you write a post I’ll link to it, but that’s not what I want. Linking to your post wont increase my traffic much. I am sure a post by an expert can increase my traffic by a good amount. I only want the blog-part of your experience. Can you please write it for me. I only want your experience with blog.
    Hope you will agree
