G1 – First Google Android Phone
Written on Sep 24, 2008 // Technology.
T-Mobile announced that the first Google Android powered phone is now available.
For ordering anyway, but you can have it as soon as October 22nd. Like Google say, I’m more interested in seeing what the platform can do in the future, but for a first release it’s off to a nice start.
Let’s wait and see what the reviews have to say about if first, some of the things I see on the T-Mobile site make me raise an eyebrow or 2, either because it looks very nice or it looks (Google Maps Street View) unfinished. Or at least not like the way it seemed to work in earlier versions.
The device looks good though, yay for a keyboard!

I was curious about this one, but still somewhat sceptical (if even MS can’t seem to come up with a good working, non bugged mobile OS, hmpf). We’ll see :)
