Appointments? Contact my wife.
Written on Mar 03, 2008 // Thoughts. It would seem my other half is responsible for staying in touch with other people these days.
Apparently that’s the way these things work. Like with Corvo for example, his missus and my missus arrange meetings, with us smiling happily from the sideline because we seem unable to do it ourselves. I know I’d hardly see him if it were up to us because somehow we never get round to a “hey, what’s up, wanna do something next weekend?”
Is that just us or does that sound familiar? I’ve noticed it seems to work that way for more people. Is it a male deficiency?

Mar 03, 2008, 15:58Hehe.It is weird indeed. Must be a deficiency on my part (and yours).
Deficiency for all males? Doubt it.
Though I do know more nutcases like us.

I dare say it seems to be a deficiency for males in IT :P
If someone wants to make an appointment with Croga, he just says to these people: you have to call my agenda (being me, his wife) for that :P
So yeah, sounds very familiair :) So in a way, I am happy you having a missus :P Now I get to see my good friends more often ;)

Mar 03, 2008, 5:20Well, I’m obviously not a missus yet, so this doesn’t apply…but I’ve known it to happen. :]
Dunno if it ought to be called a deficiency, though…

Mar 03, 2008, 7:20Nah…that’s how it works. Women are better at networking, and keeping together than men. Historical fact.

Mar 03, 2008, 7:45That sounds familiar!

I guess this behaviour is embedded in the male DNA :D
Poor Humane, probably being ’spammed’ with apointments now.

Mar 03, 2008, 14:22Don’t make me pull you by your hair to drag you back to our house sometime, Commie. *shakes finger*
@Corvo: And no, not bombarded yet though we’ll be seeing you guys soon and for the missus’ birthday
@Julynell: We’ll have to do something else soon! We had a good time at your place. Even if I was running back and forth with Evie’s sleeplessness at times. ^^
.
Still fixing up the place. It will be done soon!
