Howling at the moon
Written on Mar 18, 2007 // Thoughts. The mind works in mysterious ways, I still don’t get why you sometimes dream the way you do. It can be unsettling at times, waking up covered in sweat and totally out of it. It’s also always puzzled me why you can still remember it vividly when you wake up but it fades so quickly in the hours afterwards.

Mar 19 2007, 0:17Yes, like how many people (close to one), one can be killing or abandon in their dreamz (^°°^)
Because you know it is a dream and you don’t try to hard to hold on to it, or it is meant to be erased/fleeting.
There are some supposed prophetic dreams, though D=
A warning, deja vu, a fear, a potential happening, a mixture of buried thoughts. Oh well…

Mar 19 2007, 13:55Apparently by keeping a dream diary, or just writing down cues to remember them by, you start remembering your dreams more anyway. I handed out dream diaries for a project way back when and everyone that used them said they remembered a lot more often even after they stopped using them.
I tend to only remember the part of the dream where I woke up - like if I tripped over a log and woke myself up because me legs kicked out. Although apparently I also twitch while I’m falling asleep, which I was never actually aware of.
A friend of mine once knee’d her boyfriend in the nuts while she was asleep.

Mar 19 2007, 19:21I’ve dreamt of Cherry Blossoms.. o_o The trees where a vivid pink color and i was hanging out with 2 people in the rural area of japan. I looked down the road and saw more Sakura. There was a nice breeze that blew the petals and for some reason i started to run down that road giggling in shear happiness as i was running though the petals that were flying by. I sat down near the edge of the road and sighed and said “I love japan” and woke up..
But that was two days ago. T_T I wish i could have more dreams like that.
I wonder if dreaming of Sakura is a good sign..

Mar 19 2007, 20:02I hardly ever remember my dreams. When I do, they are weird as hell. They also seem to be repeated… the same 3 or 4 and I am always being chased. Wonder what that means. o_o

Mar 19 2007, 20:59I have very strange dreams, too. Sometimes I’ll wake up briefly, but when I fall back to sleep the dream continues where it left off… I also have dreams of being chased or attacked and not being able to defend myself, and I always wake up before the killing blow… One I had last night, a killer with a chainsaw was stalking me on a space ship through the cold bloody corridors. Another one, a strange man was striking out at me with a razor!

Mar 19 2007, 23:48Holy shit, I’m commenting stuff!
Yeah, I hate when you have the best dream ever, a dream that feels so real that you don’t want to ever wake up, where all your troubles are gone and replaced by a blissful feeling (am I high when i dream good dreams?^^)… only to wake up by the cat scrathing at your door, just because he thinks that the ammount of food in his bowl isn’t enough…

Mar 28 2007, 11:30Aww… Well I hope you dream better now. ^_^
I’m amazed how quickly I forget my dreams now. I haven’t had a nightmare in a couple weeks. XD
