Daring No Balls

Tired of my Apple posts? Go check out the ‘latest greatest’ anti-Apple site, Daring No Balls.
I’ve got to hand it to him, it’s a nifty idea. When you have nothing to say, want to create a website and don’t have a clue, simply start an anti-site, target some of the most popular bloggers and enjoy the ride as the backlinks and traffic come by itself (quod erat demonstrandum). The actual site is piss poor of course, hell even the title is unimaginative. No layout, no content, a few very lame stabs at Apple. Android battery life better than iPhone? Yeah, maybe it lasts longer because nobody actually likes using the damn things. And since when is having to buy your own replacement battery every 2 years a positive feature for Android phones? Come on, I love my Apple stuff and even I could come up with a better anti-Apple site. The only valid comment on there is about the amount of leaks on Jobs’ biography.
Too bad comments are disabled for all posts, if he enabled them he could really lean back and enjoy the Flamewars of Doom started by all the Apple & Android fanboys.

  1. Funny …. a few months ago I received a brand new HTC phone. It had a large, vibrant display and 1 ghz processor. I loved it… for about two days. You could literally not do anything for more than a few hours because the battery would die. I thought it was just mine but then I googled. Sold the phone on ebay and got a different one. Now my phone actually lasts a full day of normal to moderate usage. Now that I’ve done so much with my android I plan on grabbing the 4s in a few weeks. I’ve messed with my 4g Ipod enough to go their route.

    • I was able to test several HTC models through work, and hated them all. Crappy battery life, sluggish interface, illogical gui and interaction. I remember a colleague showing me a new feature, being able to kill programs that’d crashed. Says it all really. The reason I love the iPhone is the same reason I love the Mac. It’s 1 product, made from start to finish by 1 company, with the aim of it being the best product they can make so you’ll buy it. That’s why it’s fast, efficient, well integrated and consistent. Android is made by Google so they can control the search box on mobile phones. Because that’s where they make their money. Bit of a different angle.

  2. Eh :T quit knocking on the android phone. Well anyways its whatever floats your boat!~

If apple makes a gaming phone with a drop down ps controller id so be all over that too XD; nomnoms

I like the site. Its simple and amusing (^^ ) heheheh

    • Don’t hold your breath, I doubt they’ll ever make an iPhone like that, simply because they only make 1 model and not everyone’s a gamer. It would be sweet though, I tried some fps games on the iPhone but that so doesn’t work without a controller. Not for me anyway.

      • Hah, I was never holding my breath.. xD I was only just saying. Apple never makes anything for the gaming crowd and probably never will! Boo!

  3. For anyone wondering why the site vanished, he pulled it after he learned he wasn’t as anonymous as he thought he was:
